Neighbourhood Discovery Walk

What makes a public space work? Join staff and participant Iliana Sergeev for her 2hrs experience during which we will explore our East End neighbourhood and its’ 3 prominent parks / public spaces. We will do some walking, intertwined with engaging conversations and play time at remarkable public spaces. We will start our exploration at the Underpass Park (29 Lower River Street), walking along the park to the Sackville Playground, next the Front Street Promenade, making our way to the Corktown Commons. One of Iliana’s mandates is to encourage parents and kids to derive more joy and better bonding experience while exploring these accessible, inclusive, and, simply, beautiful spaces.
