Creating a 2SLGBTQ+ Affirming Home

The 519’s Glitterbug program will present a Zoom workshop on exploring the beginning stages of how the LGTBQ+ community came together to fight for their rights and freedom in Canada and worldwide. Many years later, the LGBTQ+ community still faces challenges such as trans/homo/bi phobia, especially with young children and youth who are exploring their gender identity, and orientation. With the past and pre-sent situation, let us discuss and learn on how to create an affirming home environment for our children and support them the best way we can.
