Trish Lawrence is a Registered ECE with a Masters in Education, a mom of 2, and the founder of East End Mom Friends. Over the past 13 years she has worked in licensed childcare settings – both private and non-profit – as well as worked as a professional nanny, resource consultant, family support specialist and in the private sport industry working with both typically developing and special needs children and adolescents. As a mother of two, she understand how hard it can be to leave your child with someone else. After a year of lockdown with her daughter, she had to drop her off to daycare sight unseen, to caregivers in PPE and without being able to see her in action. This experience makes her uniquely qualified to help vet your childcare options from the perspective of a parent. She’s excited to join the SRCPC team and help in guiding parents to feel empowered about choosing the childcare option that is right for their family.
