Join us at Joel Weeks Playground (10 Thompson St) where we’ll be playing in the splashpad and playground, with a special Music and Movement class with Spotlight Dance Arts! Dress for water play and bring your sunscreen!

 Spotlight Dance Arts is a new dance studio in the neighbourhood, open for registration for the 2026/2027 Dance Season! We offer a variety of dance classes for several age groups. We are so excited to host a 'Music and Movement' class in the park with the South Riverdale Child-Parent Centre! Our program will be a wonderful introductory class for your child to explore their love of movement! Our program incorporates Creative Movement themes that capture your child's imagination. We use a variety of props and music that will delight them! Our curriculum incorporates pre-primary Ballet skills that are an excellent foundation for any dance style, as we focus on musicality, creativity, and coordination. The dancers will begin learning dance steps in a fun and nurturing way, using magic and imagination! We are thrilled to be part of the Riverside community (just at 2 Strange St) and cannot wait to dance with you!
